Settings - Slack Integration

Get notified of new Mentions via your Organisation's Slack channels

To create a Slack integration for a Mention Stream, you will need to first enable connectivity between these platforms and your organisation by following the steps below.

Click on your Initials in the top left-hand corner of the screen and select Organisation from the drop-down menu.

From here, select Integrations from the top menu bar then click the Integrate button within the Slack tab

Follow the prompt to give CisionOne access to your Slack workspace.

How to enable Slack notifications for your Mention Streams

Once Microsoft Teams or Slack has been integrated with the CisionOne platform, you can easily create and manage Live Notifications for your preferred Mention Streams by following the steps below.

Click on your initials at the top left of the screen and click Notifications.

Ensure Notifications are set to ON with the toggle switch. Then select Add Notification.

Choose a Mention or Social Stream, select a specific Stream and the relevant media types

Delivery options are Mobile, Email and Slack. For Slack, toggle the button to ON to verify the Slack Channel and ID.

Remove Slack connectivity

To remove an integration, open up Integrations in your Account Settings, navigate to Microsoft Teams or Slack and click on Remove Microsoft Teams/Slack Integration to confirm the removal. You can always re-add the integration at a later stage.
